Water Pavilion: Virtual Meeting Details (waterforclimate.net)
Climate change poses a risk to our urban environment as well as human and natural systems. While mitigation can reduce climate change, it cannot avoid all impacts making adaptation activities essential. In this session we will present three case studies where cities have utilised adaptation and mitigation activities in urban water to create climate resilient pathways that reduce vulnerabilities to climate change. We will demonstrate areas of opportunity to collaborate and potential barriers to implementation as well as focus on the skills and capacity needed to deliver these programmes.
